Typ-I-4-Phosphatase-Antikörper (E-2) ist ein monoklonaler IgG1-κ-Maus-Antikörper gegen Typ-I-4-Phosphatase (auch als Typ-I-4-Phosphatase-Antikörper bezeichnet), der das Typ-I-4-Phosphatase-Protein von Maus, Ratte und Mensch durch WB, IP, IF und ELISA nachweist. Der Typ-I-4-Phosphatase-Antikörper (E-2) ist sowohl als nicht konjugierter Anti-Typ-I-4-Phosphatase-Antikörper als auch als mehrfach konjugierter Anti-Typ-I-4-Phosphatase-Antikörper erhältlich, darunter Agarose-, HRP-, PE-, FITC- und mehrere Alexa Fluor®-Konjugate. Die Inositolpolyphosphat-4-Phosphatasen entfernen selektiv das Phosphat aus der 4-Position verschiedener Phosphatidylinositole, die als Reaktion auf extrazelluläre Signale zweite Botenstoffe erzeugen. Sowohl die Typ-I- als auch die Typ-II-4-Phosphatasen katalysieren die Hydrolyse von Phosphatidylinositol-3,4-bisphosphat, Inositol-1,3,4-trisphosphat und Inositol-3,4-bisphosphat. 4-Phosphatasen vom Typ I und Typ II werden beide alternativ in zwei Isoformen, α und β, gespleißt, die in menschlichen Blutplättchen, Rattenhirn, Herz, Skelettmuskel und Milz nachgewiesen wurden; alle Isoformen enthalten ein konserviertes Motiv CKSAKDRT, das die Konsensussequenz C-X5-R für das aktive Zentrum enthält. Es wird angenommen, dass sowohl 4-Phosphatasen vom Typ I als auch vom Typ II den intrazellulären Kalziumspiegel regulieren, indem sie als signalbeendende Enzyme fungieren.
