follistatin Antikörper (C-8) ist ein monoklonaler Maus IgG2b κ Antikörper (auch als Activin-Binding Protein Antikörper oder FS Antikörper bezeichnet), der das follistatin Protein von Maus-, Ratte- und menschlicher Herkunft mittels WB, IP, IF und ELISA detektiert. Der follistatin Antikörper (C-8) ist sowohl als nicht konjugierte Form des Anti-follistatin Antikörpers als auch in mehreren konjugierten Formen, einschließlich Agarose, HRP, PE, FITC und mehreren Alexa Fluor® Konjugaten, erhältlich. Follistatin ist ein hochaffiner Bindungsprotein von Activin, das ursprünglich für seine Rolle bei der Regulierung der Freisetzung von Follikel-stimulierendem Hormon (FSH) isoliert wurde. Follistatin bildet eine Gruppe von miteinander verbundenen Faktoren mit Activins und Inhibins, Mitgliedern der Transforming Growth Factor-Beta (TGF-Beta) Superfamilie. Activin, Follistatin und Activin-Rezeptoren sind in vielen Geweben exprimiert, in denen sie als autokrine/parakrine Regulatoren einer Vielzahl physiologischer Prozesse, einschließlich der Reproduktion, fungieren.
