Id2抗体（E-7）是一种IgG2a小鼠单克隆Id2抗体（也称为DNA结合抑制因子2抗体、ID2抗体或bHLHb26抗体），可通过WB、IP、IF和ELISA检测小鼠、大鼠和人类的Id2蛋白。Id2抗体（E-7）既可作为非偶联的抗Id2抗体形式提供，也可作为多种偶联形式的抗Id2抗体提供，包括琼脂糖、HRP、PE、FITC和多种Alexa Fluor®偶联物。基本螺旋-环-螺旋（bHLH）蛋白的Id家族成员包括Id1、Id2、Id3和Id4。它们在体内普遍表达，并与A类和B类HLH蛋白成员形成二聚体。由于缺少碱性区域，所形成的异二聚体无法结合DNA。因此，Id型蛋白似乎对bHLH蛋白的DNA结合起负调控作用。由于Id1抑制E12和Myo D的DNA结合，它显然起着抑制肌肉特异性基因表达的作用。在促进肌肉细胞分化的条件下，Id蛋白水平下降，允许E12和/或E47与Myo D和肌细胞生成素形成异二聚体，进而激活肌源性分化。已有研究表明，Id蛋白的表达强烈依赖于生长因子的激活，而通过反义寡核苷酸降低Id mRNA水平会导致生长因子刺激后停滞的细胞重新进入细胞周期的速度减慢。

can it used for pig?

Thank you for your question. We have not yet tested this antibody, Id2 (E-7): sc-398104, for use in pig samples so we do not recommend it for use with this species at this time. The antibody is raised against amino acids 105-134 at the C-terminus of Id2 of mouse origin. Based on sequence analysis, this sequence shares 90% sequence identity with Id2 of pig origin (protein accession number Q2VIU1). This is a high degree of identity, so there is a good chance that the antibody may also cross-react with pig.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good antibody for Id2 detection by Western blotWe tested this antibody on differentiating N1E-115 mouse cell line. It gives a clear signal at about 20 kDa, in line with the expected molecular weight of the protein (17,5 kDa). Background is very minimal. Antibody dilution: 1:250 in PBST with 5% nonfat dry milk.
