SLUG 항체(A-7)는 마우스, 쥐 및 인간 유래의 SLUG 단백질을 WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) 및 ELISA로 검출하는 IgG1 κ 마우스 모노클로날 SLUG 항체(SNAI2 항체, 스네일 계열 전사 억제 2 항체 또는 SNAIL2 항체로도 지정됨)입니다. SLUG 항체(A-7)는 비접합 항-SLUG 항체 형태뿐만 아니라 아가로스, HRP, PE, FITC 및 여러 Alexa Fluor® 접합체를 포함한 여러 접합 형태의 항-SLUG 항체 형태로도 사용할 수 있습니다. SNAIL 계열의 발달 조절 단백질은 전사를 조절하는 널리 보존된 아연 손가락 단백질 그룹으로 포유류 단백질인 SLUG, SNAI 1(Drosophila SNAIL의 인간 동종 단백질) 및 Smuc을 포함합니다. SNAI 1과 SLUG는 태반과 성인의 심장, 간, 골격근에서 발현됩니다. SNAI 1과 이에 상응하는 마우스 상동체 Sna는 각각 3개의 전형적인 아연 손가락과 1개의 비정형 아연 손가락을 포함하고 있으며, SLUG는 5개의 아연 손가락 영역과 아미노 말단에 전사 억제 도메인을 포함하고 있어 SLUG가 유전자 발현의 음성 조절자 역할을 할 수 있게 해줍니다. SLUG는 인간 배아에서 신경 볏 세포의 생성과 이동에 관여하며, 사지 싹 발달에도 기여합니다. 또한 SLUG는 IL-3가 결핍된 쥐의 프로-B 세포에서 세포 사멸을 효과적으로 방지하는 세포 항사멸 전사인자를 구성하기도 합니다. 쥐 골격근 세포의 SNAIL 관련 유전자인 Smuc은 골격근과 흉선에서 높게 발현되며 마찬가지로 유전자 전사를 억제할 수 있습니다. Smuc은 DNA의 CAGGTG 및 CACCTG E-박스 모티프(CANNTG)와 우선적으로 결합하며, Smuc의 C-말단 영역에 있는 5개의 추정 DNA 결합 아연 핑거 도메인을 포함합니다.

Does this antibody (sc-166476) have cross-reactivity to Snail protein?

Thank you for your question. This mouse monoclonal antibody is specific for SLUG and does not cross-react with the closely related family protein, Snail, also designated SNAI 1.

I am interested in performing a double stain, but how can I do this if I am only using mouse monoclonals?

To perform a double stain, we recommend using directly conjugated primary antibodies. This product, sc-166476, is available conjugated to AF488, AF647, and FITC.

Nevertheless, we got high background with not-specific bands and low signal at the expected size.
