    Hello, I recently used this Ab for WB with lung homogenates from experimental mice. Even though I saw a clear band, the size of the band was unusually high (above 100kDa). Could you give me an insight about why that could be the case?

    Thank you for your question. We do not have any reference or data supporting that high of a molecular weight for TTP. We would recommend that you include a positive control in your Western blot testing, such as 3T3-L1, or PC-12 whole cell lysates for comparison. Please contact our Technical Service Department if you would like help troubleshooting the antibody.

    Has this antibody been shown to detect endogenous levels of TTP in mouse Raw 264.7 cells?

    Thank you for your question. We have not yet tested this antibody, TTP (H-12): sc-398904, in RAW 264.7 cells. However, we do have endogenous data in other mouse cell lines including RAW 309 Cr.1 and 3T3-L1 whole cell lysates.
