Spastin抗体（C-3）是一种IgG3 κ小鼠单克隆Spastin抗体，可通过WB、IP、IF、IHC(P)和ELISA检测小鼠、大鼠和人类的Spastin蛋白。Spastin抗体（C-3）为非偶联的抗Spastin抗体。AAA蛋白家族成员共享一个ATP酶结构域，并在各种细胞过程中发挥作用，包括细胞内运动、膜转运、蛋白质水解、蛋白质折叠和细胞器生物发生。Spastin是AAA蛋白家族的一个成员，是一种由616个氨基酸组成的蛋白质，参与核蛋白复合物的功能或组装。Spastin蛋白在细胞中普遍表达，定位于细胞核和细胞质，也可能参与微管动力学。Spastin基因（SPAST，SPG4）的突变导致最常见的痉挛性截瘫4型，这是一种常染色体显性遗传性痉挛性截瘫（HSP）。HSPs是一组遗传性神经障碍，其特征是由于皮质脊髓运动神经元的长度依赖性逆行性轴突病变导致的下肢痉挛性无力。SPAST特异性突变约占所有常染色体显性HSPs的40%。
