We have problems detecting transfected SHP-1 with this Ab, although we detect the protein with an anti-Myc tag Ab. Can you send me the sequence of the epitope that this Ab recognizes, because there are 4 SHP1 isoforms and they differ in the C-terminus.

Thank you for your question. This monoclonal antibody, SH-PTP1 (D-11): sc-7289, is specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 576-595 at the C-terminus of SH-PTP1 of human origin (Uniprot Accession number: P29350).

Photo shown here is a WB pic of this antibody probing SHP1 WT and KO Jurkat lysates.
