    外周蛋白抗体(8G2)是一种IgG1小鼠单克隆外周蛋白抗体,可通过WB、IP和IF检测小鼠、大鼠和人源的外周蛋白。外周蛋白抗体(8G2)可以是非偶联抗外周蛋白抗体形式。外周蛋白是一种III型中间丝蛋白(IFP),在外周和一些中枢神经系统(CNS)神经元中表达。已知白血病抑制因子(LIF)可诱导外周蛋白活化。LIF通过诱导Stat转录因子家族成员与外周蛋白基因中的特定启动子元件结合来激活外周蛋白。IL-6也被认为可以诱导外周蛋白表达。虽然它不是神经突起形成所必需的,但对于细胞中间丝网络的形成是必需的。与大多数中间丝蛋白不同,外周蛋白已被报道被酪氨酸磷酸化修饰。
