血小板源性生长因子（PDGF）是间充质和神经胶质来源细胞的促有丝分裂原。它由两个二硫键连接的多肽链A和B组成，并以三种异构体形式存在，即PDGF AA、PDGF AB和PDGF BB。这三种异构体以不同的亲和力与两种受体类型α和β结合，这两种受体在结构上相关并赋有蛋白质酪氨酸激酶结构域。配体结合通过形成受体二聚体来诱导受体激酶的激活；PDGF的A亚基仅与高亲和力的α受体结合，而B亚基可以与α和β受体结合。有证据表明，PDGF可能起神经营养因子的作用。少突胶质细胞祖细胞表达DGF-A受体，而神经元表达PDGF-B受体，这表明PDGF的不同异构体可能通过旁分泌和自分泌途径调节发育中的中枢神经系统中不同细胞类型的生长和分化。

At what molecular weight should the band be seen in Western Blot with this antibody?

This antibody is reactive with both the precursor and mature form of PDGF-A. On Western blot, you may see it in different forms: as a monomeric A chain or as a dimer, or both.
