Which amount of cell lysate do you recommend for Western Blott for each lane, to see good results?

Thank you for your question. For Western Blotting we recommend a starting dilution of 1:100, with a dilution range of 1:100-1:1000. Optimum conditions for your particular experimental setup and samples will have to be determined experimentally.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Potent and quite specific antibodyThis monoclonal antibody was independently tested in-house by Kinexus Bioinformatics Corporation and validated for use for Western blotting. There was medium detection of the ~68 kDa target protein in a HeLa/Jurkat cell lysate mix, and possibly in mouse tissues (brain/testes/thymus/muscle mix), where a ~80 kDa protein was observed that was about 12 kDa higher than predicted. No major cross-reactivities were observed at 2 µg/ml antibody concentration with off-target proteins in the mouse tissues tested, except for weak cross-reactivity with a ~20 kDa protein. A ~22 kDa strong cross-reactive protein was also evident in the HeLa/Jurkat cell lysate mix.
