Optineurin抗体（C-2）是一种IgG2b κ小鼠单克隆Optineurin抗体（也称为Optineurin抗体），可通过WB、IP、IF、IHC(P)和ELISA检测小鼠、大鼠和人类来源的Optineurin蛋白。Optineurin抗体（C-2）既有无偶联的Optineurin抗体形式，也有多种偶联形式的Optineurin抗体，包括琼脂糖、HRP、PE、FITC和多种Alexa Fluor®偶联物。Optineurin也被称为FIP2、E3-14.7K相互作用蛋白、HYPL、转录因子IIIA相互作用蛋白(TFIIIA-INTP)、Huntingtin相互作用蛋白L和NEMO相关蛋白，通过与Rab8、Huntingtin和转录因子IIIA蛋白的相互作用影响细胞形态发生、膜转运、囊泡转运和转录激活。Optineurin与腺病毒E3-14.7K蛋白相互作用，并可能利用TNFα或FAS配体途径介导细胞凋亡、炎症或血管收缩。Optineurin突变可能导致正常眼压性青光眼和成人原发性开角型青光眼。Optineurin是一种由617个氨基酸组成的蛋白质，含有亮氨酸拉链和富含亮氨酸的区域，并在553-582位残基处含有一个潜在的Cys2-His-Cys锌指结构。它定位于高尔基体。RT-PCR研究表明，其在人类小梁网、非色素性睫状上皮、视网膜、大脑、肾上腺皮质、肝脏、胎儿、淋巴细胞和成纤维细胞中有表达。Northern blot研究表明，人类小梁网和非色素性睫状上皮中存在2.0 kb的转录本，以及一个较小的3.6 kb转录本。

what dilution of antibody should be used for western blotting and for staining of primary hippocampal neurons?

Thank you for your question. Optineurin (C-2) is recommended for detection of Optineurin of mouse, rat and human origin by Western Blotting with a starting dilution of 1:100 and a dilution range of 1:100-1:1000.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with sc-166576: Optineurin (C-2)?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Best anti-Optineurin antibody so farI have been trying to detect human optineurin in whole cell lysates of Jurkat T cells for a while now. I have tried one other Santa Cruz antibody and one from Abcam. This antibody (C-2) seems to give me the best results. I used it at a 1:250 concentration which gave me some background bands, so I think it could go up to 1:500 or 1:1000. One thing I have noticed is that all the antibodies I have used gives me a band around 55-60 kD, which is much smaller than the predicted molecular weight. If anyone else has seen this size discrepancy, please email me.
