Not sure if I am in the right place but can any of this be used to correct defective genes? An example would be TSC1 on chromosome 9, and TSC2 on chromosome 16. Thanks for a reply from anybody.

Can this antibody be used for ChIP?

Thank you for your question. Ku70 Antibody (E-5) is recommended for detection of Ku70 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA. It has not been tested in ChIP applications.

Can this antibody be used for co-precipitation of Ku70 with other proteins rather than just immunoprecipitation? especially, the interaction between Ku70 and HDAC, or you can recommend a Ku70 that can do HDAC interaction.

Thank you for your question. This antibody has not been tested for Co-IP, so we can not say for sure that it will work for that use. It is recommended and warrantied for standard IP use. A good choice for co-IP may be sc-5309 as it does have previous publications for Co-IP use.

Can this Ku-70 mouse monoclonal antibody be used in IF or IHC with mouse tissue or cells? Will there be non-specific staining?

Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent, our Ku-70 (E-5): sc-17789 is available in a variety of direct conjugations, such as HRP, PE, FITC, AlexaFluor 488 and AlexaFluor 647.
