    HURP（肝癌上调蛋白），也被称为DLGAP5（与Disks large相关蛋白5）、DLG7或DLG1，是一个由846个氨基酸组成的蛋白质，它定位于细胞核和细胞质，特别是在有丝分裂细胞的纺锤极中。HURP在睾丸、结肠、骨髓、胎盘和胎儿肝脏中表达，被认为是一种细胞周期调节因子，与Cdc2 p34相互作用，并在上皮细胞中介导粘附连接的组装和分化。HURP在细胞周期的G2/M期上调，并可能通过细胞周期控制在致癌作用和肿瘤转化中发挥作用。在DNA损伤时，HURP被ATM或ATR磷酸化。此外，HURP还受到泛素诱导的蛋白酶体降解的调控。由于选择性剪接事件的存在，HURP存在两种异构体。

    What is the difference between this Ab and Ab HURP (E-7):sc-377004 ?(except the fact that is a monoclonal IgG3 versus IgG1).One is more recommended for a specific application?Do both work for IF after glutaraldhyde fixation? Thanks

    Thank you for your question. The antibodies differ in their Ig isotypes and application recommendations. They have been raised against the same epitope region but are specific against different target sites within those. HURP Antibody (D-12): sc-376760 is only recommended for human cells and tissues, but apart from that, either of the two antibodies would be suitable for IF applications.
