ds DNA Marker Antibody (HYB331-01) 是一种 IgG2a 鼠单克隆 ds DNA Marker 抗体（也称为 ds DNA Marker 抗体），能够通过WB和IF检测 ds DNA Marker 蛋白。ds DNA Marker Antibody (HYB331-01) 可作为非偶联的抗 ds DNA Marker 抗体使用。脱氧核糖核酸（DNA）是由核苷酸组成的长聚合物，通过由糖和磷酸基团构成的主链连接在一起。它储存着生物体发育和功能的遗传指令。DNA 对生物体至关重要，所有已知的细胞生命和一些病毒都含有 DNA。在真核生物中，DNA 存在于细胞核中，而在原核生物中，DNA 位于细胞质中。在生物体内，DNA 通常不是以单个分子的形式存在，而是以紧密关联的双分子形式存在，形成右手双螺旋结构。两条 DNA 链通过氢键以及疏水效应和 π 堆积产生的力结合在一起。在复制和转录过程中，螺旋的一部分会解旋并变成单链。这些单链 DNA 被保护性蛋白质所包围。双链（ds）DNA 标记是生物学研究中的有用工具，有助于研究 DNA 的行为和特征。

Is this antibody suitable to detect human dsDNA?

Thank you for your question. Strong reactivity with both ss- and dsDNA has been observed on dotblots. It is not species dependent so human DNA should be perfectly fine. Please reach out to technical service if you have further questions.

What is molecular weight of this antibody?

Thank you for the question. This mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody is recommended for detection of double stranded DNA by WB and IF. The mol. weight of this antibody itself is around 160 kDa.
