Does it work for IF using Rat or Mouse tissue?

Thank you for your question. This antibody has not been tested for use on any other species than human samples, so we only recommend and warranty it for use on human samples. I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with cyclin A (B-8): sc-271682?

We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGκ) conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. Rated 1 out of 5 by from New antibody lot doesn't perform well anymoreUnfortunately, after repurchasing the antibody it did not perform as previous lot. I have used old lot for IF at 1:500 dilution in human RPE1 cells successfully and got a specific nuclear staining. However, when I purchased the antibody again it was totally non-specific and resulted mainly in cytoplasmic localisation. I have contacted Santa Cruz support and they sent me a replacement, but even the replacement was not performing as the old antibody lot. It is very disappointing that different antibody lots are not reproducible.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well for western blot and IPI have used this antibody for WB 1:500. It recognises a band at 54 kDa. However it also detects a band around 102 kDa. It also perform well for IP, 2 ug with 500ug lysate for RPE1 cells 2h RT. Looking forward to test if for IF.
