Can CC10 (B-6): sc-390313 monoclonal antibody be used in IF or IHC with mouse tissue or cells? Will there be non-specific staining?

Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent, CC10 (B-6): sc-390313 is available in a variety of direct conjugations, such as HRP, PE, FITC and AlexaFluors.

I have a question related to applications of CC10 (B-6). There is a result by western blot in the datasheet. I wonder if CC10 (B-6) is applied to IHC-P using mouse tissue. Have you ever applied CC10 (B-6) to IHC-P? Let me know detailed information. Thanks

Thank you for your question. CC10 Antibody (B-6): sc-390313 has not yet been tested for IHC(P), or IHC on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections. We do offer an alternative antibody that has been tested for this application that we would recommend using instead, CC10 Antibody (E-11): sc-365992. https://www.scbt.com/scbt/product/cc10-antibody-e-11
