Brn-3c抗体(QQ8)是一种IgG1 κ小鼠单克隆Brn-3c抗体(也称为POU4F3抗体),可通过蛋白质印迹法(WB)、免疫沉淀法(IP)、免疫荧光法(IF)和酶联免疫吸附测定法(ELISA)检测小鼠、大鼠和人源性的Brn-3c蛋白。Brn-3c抗体(QQ8)为非偶联抗Brn-3c抗体。Brn转录因子家族存在于高度限制的神经元亚群中,对中枢神经系统的早期胚胎发育至关重要。Brn-1和Brn-2是III类POU(Pit-Oct-Unc)结构域蛋白,而Brn-3是IV类POU结构域蛋白。已经描述了三种Brn-3蛋白,分别命名为Brn-3a、Brn-3b和Brn-3c。虽然Brn-3a和Brn-3c刺激转录,但Brn-3b通常作为转录阻遏物发挥作用。然而,已显示Brn-3b(而非Brn-3a)可调节乙酰胆碱受体的表达。有趣的是,Brn-3a具有两个功能性反式激活结构域,一个位于氨基末端,另一个位于羧基末端。Brn-2被认为参与平滑肌细胞的发育和分化。
