I would like to know if the B2-AR (R11E1): sc-81577 antibody contains the entire heavy chain + kappa light chain. I need the Fc region for proximity ligation assays. Thank you.

Thank you for your question. All our monoclonal antibodies are complete antibodies. They all contain two heavy chains and two light chains. We specify which type of light chain the antibody contains (kappa or lambda) for each antibody. This antibody has kappa light chains.

Can β2-AR (R11E1): sc-81577 monoclonal antibody be used in IF or IHC with mouse tissue or cells? Will there be non-specific staining?

Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent, β2-AR (R11E1): sc-81577 is available in a variety of direct conjugations, such as HRP, PE, FITC and AlexaFluors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked great for WBI obtained a sample of sc-81577 B2-AR (R11E1) [Lot#G1117] to test on human myoblasts transfected with a non-silencing control siRNA or siRNAs specific to ADRB2, the gene that encodes the B2-AR. Immunodetection via western blotting produced a clear B2-AR-specific band. In contrast, detection of the same samples using sc-271322 B2-AR (E-3) worked much less robustly.
