ALB/白蛋白抗体（F-8）是一种IgG2a κ鼠单克隆ALB抗体，它通过WB、IP、IF、IHC(P)和ELISA方法检测小鼠和大鼠的ALB。ALB/白蛋白抗体（F-8）既可以作为非共轭抗ALB抗体形式提供，也可以作为多种共轭形式的抗ALB抗体提供，包括琼脂糖、HRP、PE、FITC和多种Alexa Fluor®共轭物。血清白蛋白（ALB）是血浆中的主要蛋白质，对水、脂肪酸、钙、钠、胆红素、激素、钾和药物等具有很好的结合能力。ALB的主要功能是调节血液的胶体渗透压。白蛋白在肝脏中以前白蛋白的形式合成，前白蛋白具有一个N端肽，在新生蛋白质从粗面内质网释放之前被去除。产物前白蛋白继而在高尔基囊泡中被裂解，产生分泌型的白蛋白。ALB基因的突变可能导致家族性异常白蛋白血症性高甲状腺素血症（FDH），这是一种由于ALB对T4的亲和力增加而导致的甲状腺功能正常性高甲状腺素血症。FDH是高加索人群中遗传性甲状腺功能正常性高甲状腺素血症的最常见原因。

If I block paraffin-embedded sections with 2% Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA), then stain with this antibody, will it recognize BSA? or it is very specific to mouse albumin? Thank you for your help, Patrick
