저산소증 유도 인자-1α 억제제는 HIF-1α 축적과 유전자 전사 활성을 감소시켜 HIF를 억제하는 새로운 작은 분자이다. 인간 AGS와 Hep3B 세포주를 사용한 유전자 리포터 분석에서 저산소증 유도 인자-1α 억제제는 각각 2.6과 0.7 µM의 IC50 값으로 HIF-1 전사 활성을 방지했다. 저산소증 유도 인자-1α 억제제는 HIF-1α가 Hep3B 세포에 축적되는 것을 농도와 시간 의존적으로 차단하며, 12시간 이내에 30 µM의 농도에서 완전히 억제한다. 저산소증 유도 인자-1α 억제제는 또한 10 µM에서 HIF-1 표적 유전자 VEGF와 에리트로포이에틴의 전사를 상당히 억제한다.

Thank you for your question. This compound is soluble in DMF (~10 mg/ml), and DMSO (~10 mg/ml). Insoluble in water(25 C).

Could you tell me what is the mechanism of action of this inhibitor? We know that it limits the accumulation of the HIF alpha subunit and affects its transcriptional activity, but how does it do this? Thanks!

I want to know the solubility of the compound sc-205346A. can it be dissolved in Cell Growth medias, like DMEM, DEM-F12 etc.

Thank you for your question. We have found that Hypoxia inducible factor-1α Inhibitor (CAS 934593-90-5) is insoluble in PBS, pH 7.4, so it is not likely to be soluble in cell growth media such as DMEM or DEM-F12.
