YB-1抗体（59-Q）是一种IgG2a κ小鼠单克隆YB-1抗体（也称为YB-1抗体或YBX1抗体），可通过WB、IP、IF和ELISA检测小鼠、大鼠和人类来源的YB-1。YB-1抗体（59-Q）可作为非偶联的抗YB-1抗体形式提供。Y-box结合蛋白YB-1（也称为CCAAT结合转录因子、增强子因子I亚基A和DNA结合蛋白B）属于一类多功能蛋白质家族，这类蛋白质同时调节转录和翻译过程。Y-box蛋白能与多种核酸结构相互作用，发挥转录因子和mRNA掩蔽蛋白的作用。Y-box蛋白的模块化结构包括一个高度保守的N端冷休克结构域（CSD，相当于细菌冷休克蛋白）和四个包含精氨酸簇和芳香族残基的基本C端结构域。YB-1作为生长相关基因表达的激活剂，在细胞增殖中发挥作用。同时，YB-1也是细胞死亡相关基因FAS的抑制因子。因此，YB-1可能通过调节细胞生长相关和死亡相关基因的表达，在控制细胞存活中发挥重要作用。

Can this antibody also be used for a surface staining of living cells in Flow cytometry? Thanks in advance!

Thank you for your question. YB-1 Antibody (59-Q): sc-101198 is only recommended for detection of YB-1 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA. We do not have data to support use in flow cytometry assays.

Can you please tell me the exact immunogen peptide for generation of YB-1 Antibody (59-Q): sc-101198? Thank you in advance.

Thank you for your question. This antibody was raised against a recombinant protein mapping within amino acids 51-140 of YB-1 of human origin. The exact epitope has not been mapped, so no further information is available.

What is the recommended fixation method for IF with YB-1 (59-Q): sc-101198 monoclonal antibody?
