Can we use this (sc-365578) for IF and WB to detect VEGF-A in rat hippocampus (using either brain slices or brain tissue)? If yes, are there any published papers on this using this antibody? Thank you!

Which specific amino acids of VEGF is this antibody raised to detect?

There were some inconsistencies in terms of the detectability of the desired band(s) although each time I blocked and incubated the antibody with blotting membranes in freshly prepared 5% milk.
