UltraCruz^® Microcentrifuge Tubes are ideally used for a wide range of laboratory applications that require small volumes of samples. Microcentrifuge Tubes are manufactured from thermoplastic and highly chemically resistant polypropylene, which also provides superior clarity and strength. Positive seal design increases the longevity of Microcentrifuge Tube cap allowing for repeated cap closure and eliminates caps from popping open due to induced pressure. Made with made with engraved graduations, Microcentrifuge Tubes have an attached flat top cap that is easy to open and close with one hand. Microcentrifuge Tubes are autoclavable and are rated for temperatures from -80° C to 120° C. Microcentrifuge Tubes have a maximum relative centrifugal force (RCF) rating of 26,000 x g. Sterile Microcentrifuge Tubes are non-pyrogenic, RNase/DNase-free, DNA-free and PCR inhibitor-free. Low Binding Microcentrifuge Tubes are designed to reduce protein and nucleic acid binding, maximizing sample recovery. Microcentrifuge Tubes are packaged in easy-to-open plastic bags.
