SCBT QC - does this antibody give a nice clean single band on WB? The blot showed in your picture is cut off above 34K do you detect bands higher than 34K?  I would like to use the antibody for IHC.... looking for a nice, really clean Ab

Thank you for your question. The Western blot data that you are referring to is not representative of this antibody’s detection of endogenous TIMP-2 as it is against a recombinant protein. We do have very good IHC(P) data with this antibody and recommend it for this application. Alternatively, perhaps you would like to consider a more well established antibody with numerous citations for IHC, as well as Western blot and IHC/IF data, TIMP-2 Antibody (3A4): sc-21735 .

Can TIMP-2 (H-4): sc-271932 monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

Thank you for your question. Yes, TIMP-2 (H-4): sc-271932 has been validated for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections.
