TIMP-1抗体（G-6）是一种IgG1 κ小鼠单克隆TIMP-1抗体（也称为TIMP1抗体），可通过WB、IP、IF和ELISA检测人类来源的TIMP-1蛋白。TIMP-1抗体（G-6）既可作为非偶联抗TIMP-1抗体形式，也可作为多种偶联形式的抗TIMP-1抗体，包括琼脂糖、HRP、PE、FITC和多种Alexa Fluor®偶联物。TIMP-1、TIMP-2、TIMP-3和TIMP-4（金属蛋白酶组织抑制剂1、2、3和4）与金属蛋白酶（如胶原酶、明胶酶和基质溶解素）的复合物，导致金属蛋白酶的不可逆失活。已发现TIMP-1与EPA（红细胞增强活性）相同。已显示甲状旁腺激素是成骨细胞中TIMP-2的调节剂。TIMP-3可能参与调节滋养层细胞对子宫的侵袭以及在上皮折叠和上皮管形成、分支和扩展过程中细胞外基质的重塑。TIMP-4在心脏中表达最高，在肝脏、大脑、肺、胸腺和脾脏中表达水平较低。
