Thank you for your question. We have not tested this antibody in equine tissues, nor are we aware of any publications using this antibody in equine tissues. Please contact our Technical Service Department and we can help you perform sequence analysis of the Tie-2 antibody antigens against the equine Tie-2 protein to predict any potential cross-reactivity with this species.

For Western Blot, is it recommended to use denatured or non-denatured conditions with Tie-2 (3A5): sc-293414 antibody?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good for western blot analysisFresh liver samples were homogenized in RIPA buffer. 40 ug of total protein were subjected to 10% SDS-PAGE and transferred onto a PVDF membrane. After blocking with 5% skim milk in TBS-T, membranes were incubated overnight with TIe-2 antibodies(1:1000).
