I am working with canine samples. Has this antibody been tested with dog samples?

Thank you for your question. Thrombospondin 1 Antibody (C-8) is recommended for detection of Thrombospondin 1 from mouse, rat and human, equine, bovine and porcine origin. We do not have internal or published data confirming viability of this antibody in canine samples.

I am interested in this antibody for flow cytometry, but I can see it is not validated for FC, do you know if work for thisnuse Thrombospondin 1 Antibody (C-8) Alexa Fluor® 488 sc-393504 AF488

Thank you for your question. We have not tested this mouse monoclonal, Thrombospondin 1 Antibody (C-8): sc-393504, for flow cytometry. We do offer the antibody directly conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488 (sc-393504 AF488), and will extend our product warranty to cover the application of flow cytometry (FCM). If you purchase the directly conjugated antibody, and it does not work in FCM, we can replace or refund your purchase as long as you contact our Technical Service Department within one year of your purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by rwang9 from worked great for WBI requested a free sample of it, it worked fantastic in WB, giving black and white bands at right size with no other nonspecific band at all, with colorectal cancer cell lysates. However, it did not work for IP, as the protein DID NOT pull down endougenous THBS-1 from the same protein lysates I used for WB.
