TARDBP抗体（H-8）是一种IgG1 κ小鼠单克隆TARDBP抗体，能够通过WB, IP, IF和ELISA检测小鼠、大鼠和人的TARDBP。TARDBP抗体（H-8）既可以作为非偶联的抗TARDBP抗体形式，也可以作为多种偶联形式的抗TARDBP抗体，包括琼脂糖、辣根过氧化物酶（HRP）、藻红蛋白（PE）、异硫氰酸荧光素（FITC）和多种Alexa Fluor®偶联物。TARDBP（TAR DNA结合蛋白），也被称为TDP-43，是一种含有两个RRM（RNA识别基序）结构域的核蛋白。它在各种组织中普遍表达，在胎盘、肺、胰腺、脾脏和生殖道中的表达水平最高。TARDBP作为DNA结合蛋白发挥作用，特异性地结合到HIV的TAR DNA序列基序上。通过与TAR基序的这种关联，TARDBP充当转录抑制因子并抑制HIV-1的转录。TARDBP还可以作为剪接活性的负调节因子，已知参与CFTR（囊性纤维化跨膜受体）的剪接。此外，TARDBP是泛素阳性包涵体的主要成分，在许多神经退行性疾病中都很突出。这表明TARDBP可能在神经退行性疾病的发展中发挥作用。由于存在选择性剪接事件，TARDBP存在各种异构体。

Do you have more detailed info on the epitope recognized by either of your N-terminal TDP-43 monoclonal antibodies H8 or E10, i.e. more than their being raised against residues 1-89? Also, which works best on blots?

Thank you for your question. We have not further epitope mapped the recognition sites for any of our TARDBP antibodies. The (E-10) and (H-8) clones are both raised against the same recombinant protein corresponding to amino acids 1-89 of human origin, but they do recognize different epitopes within this range. Both antibodies work equally well in Western blotting, however we would recommend our TARDBP (E-10): sc-376311 because it has been cited in a publication for Western blot. What is the recommended fixation method for immunofluorescence staining with TARDBP (H-8): sc-376532 monoclonal antibody?
