STRAP Antibody (E-8) 是一种IgG1 κ小鼠单克隆STRAP抗体（也称为STRAP抗体），通过WB、IP、IF和ELISA技术可检测来自小鼠、大鼠和人类的STRAP蛋白。STRAP Antibody (E-8) 既可以作为非偶联形式的抗STRAP抗体，也可以作为多种偶联形式的抗STRAP抗体，包括琼脂糖、HRP、PE、FITC和多种Alexa Fluor®偶联物。Smad蛋白在TGFβ超家族细胞外多肽的细胞内信号传导中起着重要作用。两种Smad蛋白，Smad6和Smad7，作为TGFβ信号传导的拮抗剂。STRAP是TGFβ信号通路的另一个拮抗剂，它特异性地与Smad7相互作用，但不与Smad6相互作用，以协同阻止TGFβ诱导的转录激活。编码人STRAP同源物（如在小鼠中所称）的基因称为unr相互作用蛋白，定位于12p12.3染色体上。在氨基酸水平上，Unr相互作用蛋白与STRAP具有97%的同源性。Unr相互作用蛋白结合unr，unr是一种具有五个冷休克结构域的细胞质RNA结合蛋白，参与RNA翻译。从哺乳动物到酵母的多种物种中都存在STRAP基因，这表明STRAP功能在真核细胞中是进化保守的。

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good antibodyI tested it in WB with a concentration of 1:1000 on melanoma cell lines A375 and SK-Mel-5. The results was not very good because i obtained more then one band really near to the molecular weight indicated on the datasheet for STRAP so it was not easy to understand which was the right one.
