Rated 1 out of 5 by from Detection of false positive signalIn western blot using anti-SR-2A antibody (A-4, Cat# sc-166775) we detected protein of expected weight but in both positive (placental tissue, platelets) and negative (thymus tissue, HepG2) controls indicating false positive and unspecific detection.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good for immunohistofluorescenceI did immunohistofluorescence by using a concentration 1:100 for the SR-2A antibody in the frontal cortex of a WT and KO mouse and the immunoreactivity was low, and very similar in both. Also, the signal pattern was not similar to the GFP-5HT2A mice.
