Is it known that this antibody is compatible with the rabbit?

Thank you for your question. This antibody was tested for detection of Oct-3/4 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P), FCM and ELISA. There are a couple of publications that have used this antibody for rabbit samples, which you can find here on the antibody's product page.

Would you recommend this antibody for a ChIP-seq experiment? We are planning to use human and cynomolgus iPSCs. I found references for the use of sc-9081, but this polyclonal AB seems to be discontinued.

Thank you for your question. The TransCruz version of Oct3/4 Antibody (C-10), sc-5279 X can be used for Gel Supershift and ChIP applications (sc-5279 X, 200 µg/0.1 ml).

Can I use this antibody for the detection of variant 1 and 2 of OCT3/4?

Thank you for your question. This antibody is reactive with Oct-3/4, which is Oct 3A. It is non cross-reactive with Oct-3/4 isoform B.
