I want to know if the sc-13577 can bind with human MSCs?

Thank you for your question. Anti-NGFR p75 Antibody (ME20.4) is recommended for detection of NGFR p75 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and IHC(P). It should recognize its epitope in all human cells that express it.

I want to study p75NTR placental samples. My application will be IHC. Please tell me whether the this antibody suitable for placental samples or not.

What is the recommended fixation method for immunofluorescence staining with NGFR p75 (ME20.4): sc-13577 monoclonal antibody?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from One laneThe antibody anti-NGFR p75 (ME20.4; sc-13577) was tested by Western blotting analysis. The samples loaded (30 μg total of proteins) derive from human cancer cells known to be positive (ctrl +) or negative (ctrl -) for the p75 expression. As shown in the western blot, the antibody recognizes only a band corresponding to 75 KDa. Despite the high amount of proteins loaded the bands observed are very faint. Probably the primary antibody must be used more concentrated (e.g 1:200) Western blot conditions: Blocking 5% Milk (1h- RT); Ab I 1:500 in tTBS overnight (+4°C) ; Ab II 1:2000 anti-mouse in 3% Milk (1h-RT)
