I need to use the NFATc1 antibody to detect the protein in samples of the rat origin. Do you know if this mouse monoclonal antibody will work?

Hi, I would like to know if this antibody detects non-mammalian homologs of Nfatc1.

Thank you for your question. This antibody has not yet been tested in non-mammalian homologs, and so that is not a recommended species type at this time. We are still gathering data to show on our website. Check back for updates!

Im not seeing a band in the predicted size for human T-cell and dendritic cell lysates. I see a band between 50-75 kDa, but I don't see any bands above that, I ran the gel down to the point where the 150 kDa point is visible using a 10%resolving gel.

What does the c in NFATc1 stand for? Does this only label cytoplasmic NFAT1?

This monoclonal antibody, NFATc1 (7A6): sc-7294, is raised against the protein known as NFATc1 (gene symbol NFATC1), which is also known as Nuclear factor of activated T-cells, cytoplasmic 1, or NFAT transcription complex cytosolic component. En mis westernblot de macrófagos derivados de médula ósea, no veo las bandas predichas (90; 110 y 140) pero veo una banda muy intende entre 37 y 50 kDa. A alguien le sucedió algo similar y/o puede ayudarme con este problema? Muchas gracias!
