    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Antibody validated by siRNA knock down!MEK kinase-2 was downregulated by siRNA in mouse primary microglia in order to validate the MEK kinase-2 (H-9) sc-398091 antibody by Western Blot. In cells transfected with MEK kinase-2 siRNA, the antigen band is hardly visible compared to control cells. This result demonstrates the specificity of this antibody and makes it to a valuable research tool.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Highly potent and fairly specific antibodyThis monoclonal antibody was independently tested in-house by Kinexus Bioinformatics Corporation and validated for use for Western blotting. There was very strong detection of the ~70+71 kDa target proteins in mouse tissues (brain/testes/thymus/muscle mix). No major cross-reactivities were observed at 2 µg/ml antibody concentration with off-target proteins in the mouse tissues tested, except for strong cross-reactivity with ~75, ~48 and ~35 kDa proteins.
