Does this antibody detect both LC3B-I and LC3B-II or only one of these forms, as only one band is shown in most of the images?

Thank you for your question. LC3B Antibody (G-2): sc-271625 is against amino acids 1-50 mapping at the N-terminus of MAP LC3β of human origin and will detect any protein variant possessing this sequence.

What is secondary reagent to be used with MAP LC3β (G-2): sc-271625 antibody for Western blot?

Thank you for your question. m-IgG Fc BP-HRP, m-IgG2b BP-HRP and m-IgGκ BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for LC3B Antibody (G-2) for WB.

would you recommend blocking in milk or BSA for western blots? or something else? Thanks

What is the recommended secondary reagent to be used with MAP LC3β (G-2): sc-271625 antibody for immunofluorescence?

We recommend using one our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGκ) as a secondary detection reagent that is conjugated to PE, FITC or a CruzFluor. Has anyone used it for ELISA? I used it for ELISA. It worked great for the recombinant protein, but failed to detect LC3B in the cell lysate. The presence of the LC3B in the same cell lysate was confirmed by Western Blot.
