I am trying to establish a ChIP-seq protocol for MafB and I would be interested in testing the MafB Antibody (F-11): sc-74521. Would that be possible to obtain a free sample? Do you have any suggestions regarding other antibodies that I could use?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we are not yet aware of any publications citing use of either of our MafB antibodies for ChIP. We do recommend and warranty both antibodies for use in ChIP if you purchase the TransCruz reagent (sc-74521 X). For a limited time, we are offering a free 10 µg sample of this antibody. When should the TransCruz reagent sc-74521 X be used instead of the standard form sc-74521?

Thank you for your question. We recommend using the TransCruz reagent form when performing ChIP or GelShift assays. This form can also be used in other applications such as Western Blot or IHC, but the dilution should be adjusted by a factor of 10 to account for the higher original concentration.
