伊洛前列素是前列环素（PGI）的第二代结构类似物，其效力比以卡前列素为代表的第一代稳定类似物高出约十倍。这种化合物可抑制 ADP、胶原诱导的血小板聚集和凝血酶聚集，ED50 约为 13 nM。1 在整个动物体内，伊洛前列素具有降血压、抗利尿、扩张血管和延长出血时间的作用。5,6 在这些研究中，30 微克/天的气雾剂剂量有效，高达 150 微克/天的剂量可持续长达一年，且耐受性良好。
