IL-6抗体（1）是一种IgG2b κ小鼠单克隆IL-6抗体（也被称为IL-6抗体或白细胞介素6抗体），可通过WB, IP, IF和IHC(P)检测人源的IL-6。IL-6抗体（1）可以是非偶联的抗IL-6抗体形式，也可以是多种偶联形式的抗IL-6抗体，包括琼脂糖、HRP、PE、FITC和多种Alexa Fluor®偶联物。白细胞介素-6，或IL-6，是一种多功能蛋白质，长度为212个氨基酸，在宿主防御、免疫反应和造血中起关键作用。IL-6由表皮朗格汉斯细胞组成型表达，并在受刺激的角质形成细胞中诱导表达。IL-6、IL-1β和TNFα作为内源性致热源，调节对细菌入侵的发热反应。IL-6受体是一个三聚体复合物，由IL-6特异性α链和IL-6、IL-11、CNTF、OSM和LIF受体共有的gp130糖蛋白的同源二聚体组成。IL-6的刺激导致gp130同源二聚化和相关激酶JAK1和JAK2的激活。一旦被激活，JAK1和JAK2会磷酸化Stat3，导致其核转位和Stat3响应基因的转录。IL-6还被证明可以激活Ras/MAP激酶途径，该途径调节NFIL6转录。

Can IL-6 Ab (sc-130326) be also used as a neutralising antibody in order to decoy IL-6? Thanks in advance

Thank you for your question. We have not tested this antibody, IL-6 (1): sc-130326, for any biological activity including neutralization, and so this is not a recommended application at this time. As an alternative, we would recommend our mouse monoclonal, IL-6 (AH65): sc-53865, which is provided azide-free for neutralizing, sc-53865 L, 200 µg/0.1 ml. What is the total volume provided of IL-6 (1):sc-130326 monoclonal antibody?

Thank you for your question. This antibody is provided as 200 µg in 1 ml total volume of PBS with < 0.1% sodium azide and 0.1% gelatin.

Can IL-6 (1): sc-130326 monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

Thank you for your question. Yes, IL-6 (1): sc-130326 has been validated for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections.
