I am using GluR-1 Antibody (E-6): sc-13152 for Western blot. How do I know if the band I am detecting is specific?

Thank you for your question. We recommend using the blocking peptide sc-13152 P as a negative control. Antibody binding to antigen may be blocked/competed by pre-absorption with the blocking peptide.
