Thank you for your question. GBP1 Antibody (1B1) has only been recommended for human . This is the only GBP1 antibody we offer at this time. sc-53857 AC is the agarose conjugated form.

Does this antibody cross-react with mouse GBP-1 and hence detect it?

Thank you for your question. We have not yet tested this antibody, GBP1 (1B1): sc-53857, for reactivity with mouse GBP-1, so we do not know if it will work for that species. Why is GBP1(1B1): sc-53857 the recommended alternative to the now discontinued GBP1 (N-17): sc-10579?

Thank you for your question. The mouse monoclonal GBP1(1B1): sc-53857 offers a higher degree of specificity than the GBP1 (N-17):sc-10579 and eliminates lot-to-lot variation. It is also warrantied for all of the same applications as the discontinued polyclonal antibody: WB, IF, IHC(P), and IP.
