F16 是一种细胞渗透性、含氟、去定位亲脂阳离子化合物，可作为线粒体毒素，具有诱导肿瘤细胞凋亡和坏死的双重能力。F16 优先积聚在线粒体中，抑制氧化磷酸化并导致线粒体跨膜去极化。F16 的荧光特性可以很容易地监测其掺入和定位。
