EUK 118 是 EUK 8 和 EUK 134 的结构类似物，其活性显著降低，10 毫摩尔过氧化氢产生的过氧化氢的过氧化氢酶活性为 35 µM O2/分钟。EUK 118 不能保护人类真皮成纤维细胞免受过氧化氢诱导的细胞死亡。
