I used this antibody to probe with WB on TF-1 cell line and found one band about the right size (~40kDa) but got an extra band about 25 kDa. My secondary antibody is also from yours (sc-2005). Do you have any ideas about the extra band?

Thank you for your question. We recommend running a secondary antibody control (omit primary) blot to see if that non-specific band is from your secondary antibody alone. It is possible you are detecting light chain IgG at that molecular weight.

Does the antibody detects total ERK and the Phosporylated form?

Is this antibody cross-reactive with Erk 3?
