is this suitable for mouse tissues IF staining?

Thank you for your question. We have not yet tested this antibody, ERβ (B-3): sc-373853, on mouse tissues so it is currently not recommended for use in that species. As an alternative, we would recommend a different antibody, ERβ (B-1): sc-390243. https://www.scbt.com/scbt/product/erbeta-antibody-b-1

Can ERb(B-3): sc-373853 monoclonal antibody be used to stain free floating sections? Where could I find the full protocol? Thank you.

Thank you for your question. This mouse monoclonal antibody, ERβ (B-3): sc-373853, is suitable for IF and IHC(P). We have not tested the antibody specifically on free floating sections, so we do not have a protocol for this specific application. However, based on the antibody's performance in the other applications, we do believe it should be suitable. Can ERβ (B-3): sc-373853 monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

Thank you for your question. Yes, ERβ (B-3): sc-373853 monoclonal antibody has been validated for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections. Got a band that is the right size (around 55 kDa) (depicted as top band in figure) but it is not very crisp. I wonder if that is two bands mushed together. But overall happy with the results compared to other antibodies. (Bottom band in figure is bActin)
