Elf-5抗体（C-1）是一种IgG1 κ小鼠单克隆Elf-5抗体（也称为ELF5抗体），可通过WB、IP、IF和ELISA检测人源的Elf-5蛋白。Elf-5抗体（C-1）为非偶联型抗Elf-5抗体。Ets-1是基于与从E26成红细胞增多症病毒中分离出的v-Ets癌基因的同源性而鉴定出的一系列基因的原型成员。该基因家族目前包括Ets-1、Ets-2、Erg-1-3、Elk-1、Elf-1、Elf-5、NERF、PU.1、PEA3、ERM、FEV、ER8l、Fli-1、TEL、Spi-B、ESE-1、ESE-3A、Net、ABT1和ERF。Ets基因家族的成员表现出不同的组织表达模式，并共享一个高度保守的羧基末端结构域，该结构域含有一个与SV40大T抗原核定位信号序列相关的序列。这个保守结构域对于Ets-1与DNA的结合至关重要，并可能是Ets基因家族所有成员DNA结合活性的原因。Elf-5是Ets家族的一个成员，可能参与肺、乳腺、前列腺和肾的功能，并可能在肿瘤发生中发挥作用。

In my lab a few years ago we used the Elf-5 (N-20) polyclonal antibody to do IHC in mouse tissues. Does this new monoclonal antibody also recognize mice or is it only human? Thank you so much!

Thank you for your question. Elf-5 Antibody (C-1): sc-376737 is only recommended for detection of Elf-5 of human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA. As an alternative, Elf-5 Antibody (G-2): sc-166653 can be used for detection of Elf-5 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA.

Suggestions on using this antibody successfully in a ChIP assay? mouse IgMk is not conducive to use in ChIP. Has anyone used this succesfully in ChIP or ChIP-seq. Did Santa Cruz think about ChIP application when "replacing" all its discontinued Ab?

What is the recommended fixation method for immunofluorescence staining with Elf-5 (C-1): sc-376737 monoclonal antibody?
