eIF3η抗体(C-5)是一种IgG1 κ小鼠单克隆eIF3 eta抗体(也称为EIF3-ETA抗体、真核翻译起始因子3亚基9 eta 116kDa抗体、EIF3-P116抗体、真核翻译起始因子3亚基B抗体或真核起始因子3(eIF3)蛋白复合物组分抗体),可通过WB、IP、IF、IHC(P)和ELISA检测小鼠、大鼠和人的eIF3 eta蛋白。eIF3η抗体(C-5)既可以是非偶联的抗eIF3 eta抗体形式,也可以是多种偶联形式的抗eIF3 eta抗体,包括琼脂糖、HRP、PE、FITC和多种Alexa Fluor®偶联物。真核细胞中蛋白质合成的起始受蛋白质起始因子和RNA分子之间相互作用的调节。真核起始因子(eIFs)参与一系列反应,最终促成80S核糖体的组装和翻译的进行。真核起始因子-3(eIF3)作为支架结构,是eIF复合物中最大的一个,包含eIF3α、eIF3β、eIF3γ、eIF3δ、eIF3ε、eIF3Ω、eIF3η和eIF3θ等多个亚基,共同控制40S核糖体亚基的组装。eIF3蛋白与40S核糖体亚基的结合能够稳定eIF2-GTP-Met-tRNAiMet复合物的结合以及mRNA的结合,并促进80S核糖体解离为40S和60S亚基,进而促进翻译前起始复合物的组装。多种癌症中常见eIF3蛋白的过度表达,提示eIF3蛋白在肿瘤发生中可能扮演重要角色。

Can this antibody be used as bait to recover the full eIF3 complex out of total lysate of human cells?

Can eIF3η (C-5): sc-137214 monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

Thank you for your question. Yes, eIF3η (C-5): sc-137214 has been validated for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections.
