EBV LMP-1抗体（3H2104，a，b，c）是一种IgG1小鼠单克隆EBV LMP-1抗体（也称为Epstein-Barr病毒潜伏膜蛋白1抗体、潜伏膜蛋白1（LMP1）抗体、Epstein-Barr病毒（EBV）抗体、Epstein-Barr病毒（HHV-4）LMP1抗体、LMP1抗体、人疱疹病毒4 LMP-1抗体或BNLF1抗体），通过免疫荧光和免疫组织化学（IHC（P））检测Epstein-Barr病毒来源的EBV LMP-1蛋白。EBV LMP-1抗体（3H2104，a，b，c）为非偶联形式的抗EBV LMP-1抗体。Epstein-Barr病毒（EBV），也称为人疱疹病毒4（HHV-4），是疱疹病毒科的一员，也是最常见的人类病毒之一，大约感染90%的人口。EBV仅感染B淋巴细胞，虽然通常无症状，但可引起传染性单核细胞增多症，这是一种以疲劳、发热、喉咙痛和肌肉酸痛为特征的疾病。EBV的线性基因组一旦进入细胞就会环化，并以附加体的形式存在于其中。病毒可以执行裂解周期，其结果是分阶段表达病毒蛋白，最终目标是产生感染性病毒粒子；或者执行潜伏周期，使病毒在宿主体内存活多年。EBV可能在Burkitt淋巴瘤（一种肿瘤可形成于下颌骨或上颌骨的疾病）和鼻咽癌（一种位于上呼吸道的肿瘤，最常见于鼻咽）的发展中发挥作用。

LMP1 is a transmembrane protein. Which region does this antibody bind to, the extracellular region or intracellular region?

Thank you for your question. sc-71023 is supplied as a cocktail of four antibodies recognizing different epitopes. These epitopes have not been mapped yet, so we cannot say which regions of the target protein are the targets.

Can sc-71023: EBV LMP-1 (3H2104,a,b,c) monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

Thank you for your question. Yes, sc-71023: EBV LMP-1 (3H2104,a,b,c) is recommended for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections.
