Any cross reaction with Vimentin on human cells?

Hi, I have been using Desmin Antibody (H-76): sc-14026 for ICC staining; however, this product was discontinued. So I was wondering if I could get small amount for the trial experiment before I place the order for Desmin Antibody (RD301): sc-23879. Thanks

What is the epitope sequence that this antibody recognizes in the chicken desmin?

I bought this product for the western blot analysis of desemin from the pig muslce, however after several times I got nothing. As stated in the instruction, this antibody can react with porcine desmin. Right?

If using the Li-Cor system, what is the recommended secondary for this antibody?

We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGκ) conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. We tried antigen retrieval using HIER sodium citrate pH6, EDTA pH9, proteinase K and no antigen retrieval at a dilution on 1:50. We had no staining at all.

Dilutions didn't last very long (with much lighter band after two weeks), but it could be easily fixed with adding more stock to the dilution. Thanks!
