The description of the antibody predicts a "doublet at 50 kDa and single band at 42 kDa." I successfully got this result; however, I would like to know what each of the bands corresponds to. Is the doublet at 50 kDa due to PTM of Cyclin E?

Can this anti-cyclin E be purchased conjugated to AF488? We can not use FITC in our application.

Which buffer to use for western blot? I used 5% milk in TBS-T for blocking and for both primary and secondary Ab and got no band. Thanks

Is the antibody directed against the whole protein or any particular site (c-or n-terminal?)

The exact epitope has not been epitope mapped, so I do not have further information regarding any particular site. Thank you for your question. cyclin E Antibody (HE12): sc-247 is recommended for detection of cyclin E (CCNE1). We have not tested the antibody for reactivity against CCNE2.

Can I use the cyclin E Antibody (HE12) for immunofluorescence if I am working with mouse tissue samples?

If looking to perform immunofluorescence in mouse tissue samples, we recommend using our directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibodies. Currently, the cyclin E Antibody (HE12): sc-247 is available conjugated to fluorescein (sc-247 FITC, 200 µg/ml) and TRITC (sc-247 TRITC, 200 µg/ml).
