Hi, I ve just used the antibody sc-246 for mouse tissue and I am getting two different bands. One at around 50kDa and another one at around 25kDa. Can I accept one of these as mouse Cyclin D1 ? Thank you in advance.

Thank you for your question. If looking to use a mouse monoclonal primary antibody for IHC(P) in mouse tissue, we recommend using our directly conjugated primary antibodies. Currently, sc-246 is not available with direct conjugation, but an alternative cyclin D1 antibody, sc-8396, is available with conjugation to agarose, HRP, FITC, PE, Alexa Fluor 488 and Alexa Fluor 647. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Specific bindingI bought this 5 years back during my PhD program for our Molecular Medicine laboratory in India. This antibody has good specificity to cell lysates of human origin. It worked well with a dilution of 1:2500 and the bands were clearly visible through ECL detection even after 3 to 4 reuses of the diluted antibody.
